M4 gets underused because people don't read patch notes and realize how good it is for one shotting medium ZEDs or potshotting anything from a distance and still have time to sneeze or reload.ĭBS on the other hand, will throw anything 6 feet under into the grinder if you aim well and close enough. Play your role and you'll do fine, don't be the guy in Suicidal thinking just because you can AA12 a FP on Normal and end his life there that it will work the same on The higher difficulty cause people do that. Things go wrong when they don't support their role, it's like watching the Commando throw his Stoner mag into a FP and raging it instead of alerting the squad so the people suited for it can handle the FP to conserve ammo or when a Medic thinks he should really focus only on healing when he's been given guns and should be healing and killing trash. They throw wrenches in the squad when the team composition isn't right. So i have the golden AA12, i can buy it, however. It's those 2, after all, that typically throw a wrench into the zed killing machine that is your squad. After seeing a video on youtube where a player was playing with AA12 and golden version, i just decided to buy golden weapon pack to get golden AA12. When I compare these 2 the situations I imagin are against SC and FPs, not trash zeds. AA12 is for cutting down crowds of ZEDs like your front lawn on a dew fresh, Sunday morning. M4 is good for laying out single targets with the opportunity to put someone down behind them. Originally posted by Murk-USA:No gun is better than the other overall, they just fit their needs depending the the situation or whaere you want to be shooting. It's not really a realistic situation, so it's not really realistic math.
You're math is only good if you set a computer to fire non-stop at a wall until it ran out of ammo. This means you are going to be forced to reload at inopportune times with it. Meanwhile, the AA12 has a hard-set reload that you can't squeeze into the zed gaps. There are gaps between zeds where you can easily refill a shell or two for the m4, meaning you aren't actually spending valuable time reloading. TWI designed it specifically to be inferior to the aa-12. The Weekly Outbreaks in Killing Floor 2 are the special variations of the normal Survival Mode with specific mutator-a-like twists that modify certain gameplay elements making the game more challenging or forcing players to pickup specific strategies and loadouts in order to survive. It is priced at 7.99 on the Steam store and unlocks golden versions of the AK-47, katana, M79 grenade launcher and combat shotgun. But that is okay, it is supposed to be, since it is a tier 3 being compared to a tier 4. The Golden Weapons Pack is the second weapons DLC for Killing Floor, released on the 13th December 2012 during the Twisted Christmas event. M4 is definitively inferior to the aa-12 (execept for weight). M4 = 72 shells = 72 * 210 = 15120 total damage you can do at a slower rate to fewer zeds
#KILLING FLOOR WIKI GOLDEN AA12 PLUS#
Plus you don't need 210 damage per shot to take out trash, m4 shots are a waste on everything except big zeds.Īlso AA-12 you can carry significantly more ammo for.ĪA12 = 140 shells = 140 * 140 = 19600 total damage you can put out at a high rate So AA-12 is better for both big zeds and trash. AA-12 has better damage when you take into account magazine size and reload time.
